Product Log Weekly Round-Up 🛠️
Instead of bombarding your inbox daily with my posts, I figured I'd compile it into a weekly thread where you can dig into the products that pique your interest.
I decided sending daily emails would be excessive - no one wants to hear from anyone that much. So I’m going to experiment with sending a weekly recap on Friday’s or maybe Monday’s - we’ll see. This week was fun. It’s been a good experience making myself write something daily.
I have noticed that some days on Product Hunt are pretty light and very info product heavy. I think I’m going to cut down my writings to 2-3 times a week to accommodate this. This would allow me to focus on products that pique my interest rather than force myself to write on products that aren’t necessarily exciting to me.
If I reduce it to 2-3 times a week, would you want an email for each post, or keep this weekly recap email? Reply and let me know if you have any preferences!
As always, feel free to unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of this email if you’re not feeling the content. I will not be offended in the slightest.
Finally, to the recap:
Monday: Subscription Payments by Involve.me
Involve.Me is a platform to create personalized interactions to engage users. Their most recent feature is their subscription payments piece to this puzzle. They’re essentially enabling you to utilize their page generation and couple it with Stripe subscriptions to create a landing page and accept subscriptions with minimal effort.
Tuesday: Pingr
Pingr is an uptime monitoring tool. They monitor your site and certificate in real-time. When it’s down, they’ll send you notifications via email, Slack, Telegram, or SMS. It seems to me that they’re essentially providing a way more user-friendly and less tech-focused uptime monitoring experience.
Wednesday: Tweek: The Good ‘Ol Paper Calendar — Now Digital
Tweek is a lightweight weekly planner application built with simplicity in mind. Tweek seems to embrace simplicity and really bring you back to a time of pen, paper, and a weekly calendar.
